US Women’s Ice Hockey Team

Despite their loss to Canada on Wednesday, the US women earned a bye into the semifinals of the PyeongChang Olympic Games. They will meet Finland at 11:10 pm ET Sunday (Feb 18th). Canada also earned a bye and will meet Russia for the right to advance to the Gold Medal game. Things are lining up for an epic rematch of the two (US and Canada) hated rivals.

Six members of the US squad were kind enough to take off the clothes for ESPN the Magazine 2017 Body Issue. The are as follows:

Alex Rigsby

Alex Rigsby is a 26 year old goalie from Delafield Wisconsin. She played collegiate hockey for the University of Wisconsin. While PyeongChang will be her first Olympics, she has been on the national team since 2013. She won an NCAA championship while playing at Wisconsin. Alex was the first goalie to ever be named captain of the Wisconsin women’s hockey team.

Brianna Decker

Brianna is a 26 year old forward from Dousman, Wisconsin. Like Rigsby, she played collegiate hockey for the University of Wisconsin. PyeongChang will be Brianna’s second Olympics as she played on the 2014 Silver Medal winning squad in Sochi. Brianna won an NCAA championship in 2011 while at Wisconsin. She was also named the most valuable player in the NWHL for the last two years.

Jocelynne Lamoureux-Davison

Jocelynne is a 29 year old forward from Grand Forks, ND. Jocelynne played collegiate hockey for the University of North Dakota. PyeongChang will be Jocelynne’s third Olympics as she played on silver medal winning squads in 2010 (Vancouver) and 2014 (Sochi). She is the twin sister of fellow Olympian (and Oglympian) Monique Lamoureux-Morando.

Monique Lamoureux-Morando

Monique is a 29 year old forward from Grand Forks, ND. Monique played collegiate hockey for the University of North Dakota. PyeongChang will be Moniquee’s third Olympics as she played on silver medal winning squads in 2010 (Vancouver) and 2014 (Sochi). She is the twin sister of fellow Olympian (and Oglympian) Jocelynne Lamoureux-Davison.

Kacey Bellamy

Kacey is a 30 year old defensemen from Westfield, Mass. She played collegiate hockey at the University of New Hampshire. PyeongChang will be Kacey’s third Olympics as she played on silver medal winning squads in 2010 (Vancouver) and 2014 (Sochi). Kacey has played professional hockey for seven years.

Meghan Duggan

Meghan is a 30 year old forward from Danvers, Mass. She played collegiately for the University of Wisconsin. PyeongChang will be Megan’s third Olympics as she played on silver medal winning squads in 2010 (Vancouver) and 2014 (Sochi). Meghan won three NCAA championships while playing at Wisconsin.

Oglympians

The Lamoureux sisters, Jocelynne and Monique, were Oglympians in 2014 when the helped the US team win a silver medal in Sochi.
