The USA’s ice hockey playing twins, Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux from Grand Forks North Dakota, earned silver medals yesterday when Team USA lost 2-0 to the Canadians.

US short track speedskater, and fellow PSU alum, Allison Baver, captured a bronze medal by skating a leg in the women’s 3,000-meter relay on Wednesday night.

Bree Schaaf is a 29 year old slider from Bremerton OR who made a shift from the skeleton to the bobsled in 2007 and has rapidly climbed the bobsledding success ladder.

Tanith Belbin and her partner Ben Agusto enter Monday nights ice dancing finals in fourth place. She is unquestionably a gorgeous women and I hope I’m able to capture some of her beauty in these shots.

If it seems like the 32 year old 6’2″ Acuff has been high jumping forever, it’s because that’s pretty much true. She’s 32 years old and started high jumping as a ten year old, so she’s been at it for a very long time. She’s also been extremely good for a very long time

I really don’t have any photos of Natalie where she isn’t completely clothed so she really can’t qualify for an UncleLar Nude Olympian of the Day. However, she is cute as the devil and I do have a bunch of great photos of her that would just be a waste to not use. So I’ll just toss a gallery of them in as another extra.

Dare Torres, a 41 year old mother of a two year old, goes for a gold medal tonight as part of the United States 400M freestyle relay. This will be the fifth Olympics for the Californian who was the oldest American Olympian at the 2000 Olympic games.

American swimmer, Amanda Beard, chose the Olympic stage as the forum for the launch of a new PETA publicity campaign to draw attention to animal rights. Amanda became the latest celebrity to appear nude on a PETA poster joining the likes of actresses Eva Mendez, Christina Applegate, Alicia Silverstone, and a whole host of B-listers.

The photos of Amanda could be considered quite tame compared to many that I’ve usually used. However, I must have been prescient because since 2004 Amanda has done some spectacular photo layouts. Fortunately, she’s on the 2008 squad so you can be sure she’ll make another appearance.
