Allison Baver – USA – Speedskating
Allison is a short track speed skater (and fellow Penn State alum) from Reading PA. She is an Olympic veteran, having competed in both the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. She is generally believed to be the first in-line skater to have qualified for the Olympics in speed skating.
Allison suffered a serious injury, breaking her ankle and tibia, last February and has faced an uphill battle since then to make it back onto the Olympic team
At one time, Allison was dating the US’s male speed skating star Apolo Ohno but that relationship has ended.
