Ashleigh is a 26 year old ski cross racer who was competing in her home town. She’s was born in Vancouver and lives at Whistler so she got huge support in her races during the Games as she won gold in a runaway in the first ever women’s Olympic ski cross competition.

Ashleigh is the defending world champion in ski cross so her gold medal today didn’t come as a big surprise.
